It costs the museum nearly $50/visitor to operate; we charge only $12 admission

Mangawhai Museum is a self-funding charitable organisation. It’s thanks to our many Friends and volunteers that we continue to grow and develop. We aim to continue a thriving tradition of meeting with others in our community and provide enjoyment to many people through the varied events we host.

We are a community-built museum and a registered Charitable Trust, so your support means so much.

Donate We are grateful for donations of any size. Donations allow us to provide education to local schools, community groups, and individuals. They assist with exhibition and building maintenance and allow us to continue to grow our museum offering. We also have various sponsorship opportunities for individuals and businesses. Friends Membership Become a Friend of the Museum and enjoy these benefits:

• Unlimited entry to the museum for $30 per year (includes free entry to the museum for one adult and up to 3 children under the age of 12)
