Now Hiring - Museum Manager
Are you a person with an interest in history and creating positive visitor experiences, who has perhaps had a career in management, enjoys working with people, and is looking for a way to contribute to our community? Mangawhai Museum is looking for a new manager!
This is a professional role, managing a modern and contemporary community facility as part of team with an established team of volunteers. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities including managing several business units and events which contribute to the life of the museum. You will be supported by a part-time administrator, a weekend receptionist and part time collections manager.
This is a salaried position for a minimum of 30 hours per week. The salary will be competitive, and negotiable based on experience and weekly hours negotiated. Applicants must have NZ citizenship or residency.
